Over a 10 year period Sustain has built and sold over 500 rain barrels to capture rain water for flowers and gardens.  These are food grade rain barrels with a hose spigot installed at the bottom and can be purchased at the Village Parks Administration building (former Safety building) for $40. Kits to connect to a downspout to fill the barrels are available at various home improvement retailers.  Plain barrels with no fittings are available for $30.  If you wish to paint a barrel consult a local paint store for recommendations.

Native Seed Library

Sustain Greenville Resources| Greenville Wisconsin
Kate Hutchinson, Greenville resident and member of Scouts BSA Troop 177, is working to complete her Eagle Scout Project by building a Native Seed Library to contribute to the natural biodiversity of the community for future generations to enjoy. The Native Seed Library will provide free seed and educational resources to help incorporate native plants into your yard or garden. Together we can support biodiversity by creating a habitat for our pollinators, butterflies, birds and more! You can follow the initiative @grownativegreenville on Instagram. Sustain Greenville is working in partnership with Kate Hutchinson.
